At MedProEd, we are focused on providing educational services that make excellent use of your valuable time & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. We are the emergency professionals! MedProEd instructors are experienced as emergency providers AND educators. With a variety of course offerings to choose from, we know you'll be happy working with us. We can travel to YOUR location, provide training/CE and hands-on practice in YOUR environment with YOUR staff and YOUR equipment. We also offer standard lecture and emergency skills CE courses (e.g., CPR/AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Scott Cooper, MedProEd President

Scott is a paramedic/firefighter and EMS educator with 37 years as an EMS Provider and 35 years of teaching experience, including ACLS, PALS, BLS, PHTLS, AMLS, EPC, PEPP, EMS Safety, college courses, EMT & paramedic training programs. Scott grew up in Portland and resides in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley. During his career he has worked in many sectors of EMS; private, hospital & fire-based ambulance services. Scott has turned his passion into instruction & has taught at all levels for Chemeketa, Portland & Clackamas Community Colleges as well as OHSU/OIT paramedic program. He has served as a preceptor for paramedic interns; examiner & licensing officer for State & National EMT through paramedic exams and has been a professional speaker for EMS conferences. He has experience developing and teaching online/hybrid medical terminology and EMS courses, virtual CE classes, and a hybrid EMR course that made it available to seven local rural and suburban fire agencies. His highly acclaimed training style and diverse teaching experience has allowed for a wide variety of educational opportunities! Mr. Cooper applies his grant writing experience to seek funding to deliver hard-to-get, nationally accredited CE courses delivered to rural/frontier areas, all while building a network of new educators. A big step was Scott's participation to found the Oregon EMS Education Foundation, and he is a board member with the Oregon EMS Association.He also performs the role of an expert witness for legal proceedings. When Scott is not working, he is often found practicing & performing with two pipe & drum bands in Salem and Portland where he has the role of Drum Sargent; playing drum set with his rock band Mile 6; and various community concert bands.
